Lap Band Follow Up

In the months following Lap Band surgery, periodic office visits will be required to adjust the band for each patient's necessary requirements.

The attending medical person will gently pierce the skin with a needle, into the reservoir or port just below the skin, and inject or drain saline.

The process is relatively pain free and generally lasts less than half an hour.
